n.Natives of Glo, invisible beings. Their land is so tiny, it's inhabited by a people who can float vertically to fit.

Amareus Bama
n. Mother goddess of Glo, parent to Belita. When she retired, she stopped being a goddess, and passed on the job to her daughter.

Belita, (var. Bayleeta)
n. Goddess of Glo. ~ bird n. Messenger bird of Belita that took messages from Glowenians to Belita asking for help. Looked like turkeys. Initially confused with turkeys and consumed by some Glowenians.

girp, (var. gurp, gerp)
n. a joke, esp. pun on words v. to make such a joke, e. g. Stop girping, Daddy! It's not the right time!

Glo, (var. Glow)
n. Small country between Canada and USA, just north of Minnesota, about yea big. So small, it's inhabited by air people. Lee was born in Glo, and had Glowenian parents. She was one of 20 children, all twins, who were called twentyuplets. Families of this size were common in Glo.

Malada
n. Air person, Lee's adopted daughter (and mischievous alter-ego). Also Lee's friend and playmate. Malada's mother was Lee's friend in Glo. When Lee moved from Glo to the USA, the mother followed, and subsequently married and lived in Indiana. She then died in Ohio, and is buried there. Malada didn't want to live with her father any more, and chose to live with Lee. Lee believes this may be due to Malada thinking that she could get away with things with Lee that she couldn't with her father. Malada's father and older sister Corlado traveled around the county in an RV for a while before buying a house in Ohio, near Malada's mother's grave.

n. Air person, girl, who went into a hay-maze-like tunnel when all of a sudden, by chance, out popped her mother out of the walls. They finished the walk together.
